There are already some great Prime Day deals available right now, but if you're looking for some extra cash to spend during the event, these tasks are for you. It's hard to pass up an opportunity to get free money, especially when you make it stretch on Prime Day by purchasing some heavily discounted goodies for yourself. The first step is the easiest, and worth the most. Simply downloading the Amazon app on your iPhone or Android device and signing in for the first time will score you a $10 credit to your account. If you have ever signed into the app with your account in the past, you won't qualify for this, unfortunately.

Once you're signed into the Amazon app, you'll want to do a Camera Search for your next credit. Amazon is offering a $5 discount on select deals when you look for the items using the feature, so be sure to play around with it now so that you know how to use it properly. Next up is Amazon's Assistant browser extension. It provides desktop notifications for the deals that you watch, and for installing it Amazon is offering a $5 discount on a Prime Day ofter of $25 or more. You can get it up and running in just a few minutes, and once the event ends you can uninstall it if you don't want to keep it around.

Finally, if you shop at Whole Foods Market on Prime Day, Amazon will give you 10% back if you use your Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card. Last year, Amazon ran some special cashback promotions on Prime Day purchases from Amazon.com as well, so if you don't already have one of the cards, now may be the time to apply.

Of course, each of these promotions requires a valid Prime account, so if you don't already have one, you can try it out for 30-days at no cost to you. Another thing to note: Amazon tends to only allow for these credits to be applied to items that are sold and shipped by Amazon, so you'll want to pay attention to the sellers on Prime Day to make sure your credits will work.
