We've been speculating about Amazon Prime Day for a few weeks already, and now Amazon has made it official. Prime Day 2019 is set to kick off on Monday, July 15 at midnight PT / 3am ET and last for 48 hours. This is the longest Prime Day event to date, and trumps last year's offering by a full 12 hours.

The company is wasting no time, though. Starting right now you can save $120 on the Toshiba 43-inch Fire TV Edition smart TV, which makes it just $179.99. The TV normally sells for closer to $300, and this price drop matches the lowest we've ever seen for it. Additionally, you can grab the Chamberlain MyQ smart garage opener with an Amazon Cloud Cam for $99.98, which is a $90 savings. This is great for those who want to add some security to their home, and it works with Amazon's new in-garage delivery options, which will be a huge benefit so you can keep all your Prime Day packages safe as they're being delivered.

Much like last year, Prime Day 2019 will bring along with it a bunch of new product launches for Prime members as well. It looks like Belkin will have some new headphones with a Lightning connector, iOttie has a new Alexa-enabled car mount, TP-Link is offering a new mesh Wi-Fi system, and much more.

Of course, all of these offers are exclusive to members of Amazon's Prime service. If you aren't already a subscriber, now would be a good time to take advantage of the free 30-day membership. With this, you'll gain access to all the great benefits, like free one-day shipping on tons of items, as well as all the other discounts that Prime Day itself will bring, without you needing to pay anything for it.

Amazon has said that Prime Day 2019 will offer millions of deals during the 48-hour event, and realistically that's going to be hard to keep up with. Don't worry, though. We've set up a Prime Day Hub, which will be updating constantly during the event. Here you'll be able to find tips and tricks to help you get ready for the event, the best deals as they go live, and roundups of offers you won't want to miss out on.

Prime Day will be available to those in U.S., U.K., Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, and this year Amazon is rolling it out for the first time in United Arab Emirates.

We also have a custom Prime Day mailing list set up that will deliver the best tips, tricks, deals, and more right to your inbox as it happens. Be sure to sign yourself up for that using the widget here so that you don't miss out on anything.
