Target has announced that the company is expanding its next-day delivery of household essentials, Target Restock, across all of the continental U.S. Unlike various other services that offer discounted expedited shipping, there is no membership fee. REDcard holders get the shipping for free, and everyone else will only pay $2.99. With this growth of the service, Target says that more than 75% of the population will now be able to order things like paper towels, baby food, peanut butter and laundry detergent and have them arrive at their home the next day.

In order to get your order the following day, you'll need to place it before 7 p.m. local time Monday through Friday. Target uses stock from local stores to be able to expedite the delivery timeframes, so you may notice that things are not available for the next-day delivery but you can order them from Target.com. The orders have a 45-pound maximum, which Target says is about an average shopping cart full of goodies. There is a capacity tracker to help you along the ordering process.

Alongside the expansion, Target has released a voice-assistant experience, which lets you use Google Assistant on your phone or Google Home device to place your order via your voice. The company is partnering with Shipt for local same-day delivery of grocery orders and expanding its Drive Up service where team members bring your items to your car in the parking lot.
